What a face is? Surely is not only the front part of the head featuring the eyes, the nose, the mouth and the surrounding area. Idiomatically, face means dignity, prestige, good name, credit and reputation. A face can be lost, a face has to be maintained. Our face must be constantly attended to in interaction. Face measures people’s emotions. Personally I see faces as lands that always have more to explore, more to discover.
A color is the visual perceptual property that the human kind catalogues into different categories called red, yellow, blue or others. A color is the effect arising from the spectrum of light interacting in the eye with the spectral sensitivities of the light receptors. Actually colors do not exist. What we call “color” is only the result of the physics of an object in the environment as perceived by the peculiar characteristics of two eyes, of one brain… I think it’s something to consider. All pictures of this gallery are not the result of post production tools or electronic effects. Are just bare shots made with (not so) long exposures (normally 1/4, 1/8) slightly adjusted in terms of light/sharpness in few cases.
